This is the first study assessing 1.3 million YouTube views of #prostatecancer videos for commercial bias, misinformation, racial disparity, recommendations of alternative therapies, preference of new (untested) technologies - performed using a validated instrument.
We found low scores for shared-decision making and high bias. Inverse relationship between quality and popularity of vidoes!
