In New Zealand, severe winds, heavy rain, high seas and flooding have impacted logistics solutions. The interisland ferry services announced closures at the beginning of the week with the expectation to resume normal sailing operations by the week's conclusion. Our teams in New Zealand have been working hard mitigating any potential delays through this severe weather event.

In South Africa, the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSTU) has announced a strike for tomorrow, October 6th. Cape Town port has already enacted their contingency plan to mitigate any potential delays, but please plan for additional time during this strike action if you have cargo coming from the region.
