DISRUPTIONS ISSUE 2: THE END OF MEMORY
We are delighted to launch the second of our DISRUPTIONS - fundamental changes to the human landscape that are creating altered realities and new ways of living. ?
Our first DISRUPTION was Mental Obesity - where our ability to process stimuli is serious undermined by a myriad of social, technological and neurological shifts. ?We looked at the consequences of an increasingly mentally obese world and the implications for brands, business and all of us as human beings.?
Our second DISRUPTION is The End of Memory. ?To cut a long story short, we are now living at the beginning of the end of memory as we know it. ?The traditional process of remembering is ending and we are entering a phase of new memory configurations, many of which involve outsourcing 'our' memory to a raft of 'digital butlers'. This has, and will have, profound consequences.
