Disruption is a given but your networks are what saves you.

As we all continue to settle into the now normal and many of us eagerly count down the days to the removal of close contact quarantine requirements I can't help but pause and probably for the first time in two plus years take a breath.

I am starting to like this "now" normal and even the two sets of separate quarantine thanks to my kids has served a purpose. Two weeks working from home has meant a complete reset for all of my "happy" bubble routines - things I put in place some six years ago most of which went by the wayside with the arrival of Covid -19. It is kind of nice to step out of survival and fire fighting mode and back into a strategic forward planning mindset both for myself and for my businesses.

I don't think I am the only one so I am curious how everyone is feeling on the other side with most of the restrictions now removed?

Social Media AOK is rapidly nearing its 10th Birthday celebrations on July 1st which will see us embrace significant additions to the services we provide although we will continue to offer the Seriously Digital without the BS programme as it keeps booking out, that and I like to support business owners and marketers through training. If you have training budget left this financial year I recommend taking a look at the June intake for yourself or your marketing team.

Networking has certainly retuned to normal thanks to some National consistency around close contact rules - lets be honest in a networking town like Adelaide this was never going to take long. So with that in mind BNI Adelaide North is starting two new networking groups, BNI Edge Tuesday mornings 7am and BNI Rainbow Connections lead by and for the LGBTIQA+ community 530pm Wednesday nights. At this point we host 8 different networking events a week which you are most welcome to attend.

As we come into winter I would encourage you to consider the Duke of Brunswick if you are looking to host your own events whether it's a long lunch or a cocktail event or maybe one of our 109 custom tasting experiences it is nice to see corporate functions back in force.
