Dispersant SAM1112
This product is a polymer type dispersant, generally light yellow liquid, belongs to the third generation. Compared with the first generation of inorganic dispersant and the second generation of organic small molecule dispersant, it has higher grinding and dispersing efficiency, and can significantly reduce the viscosity of the grinding system, improve the fineness of grinding and shorten the grinding time. SAM disperses a wide range of inorganic materials down to the nanometer size in water or aqueous systems with small amounts of organic solvents.SAM1112 is particularly suitable for grinding and dispersing cathode materials for sodium electrode systems.
Although the equipment used by each enterprise is similar, but due to differences in the formula and nature of the powder, the grinding time also varies greatly. Therefore, the amount of dispersant needs to be adjusted by the enterprise according to its own equipment and process conditions. In addition, it should be noted that the amount of dispersant generally has an optimal minimum use, more or less performance is reduced, and even worse than the case of not adding dispersant. The optimum dosage depends on the fineness or surface area of the pigment in the final system.
Chemical composition: Phosphorus-free water-oil amphiphilic low molecular weight polymer.
pH: ~7
Non-volatile content: ~40%.
Color: Light yellow to brownish yellow low viscosity liquid.
Viscosity: 10~100cps
Density: ~1.1g/cm3
Dosage: Used for dispersing various inorganic materials in water or aqueous systems containing small amounts of organic solvents, up to an average particle size of about 100 nm. If it is not necessary to reach the nanometer scale, the dosage can be reduced. Generally 0.1% of the dry powder of the material. As the density of each material and the size and distribution of the particle size at the end of grinding are different (different specific surface area), the dosage should be adjusted according to the actual situation. Density of about 3 powder particle size 0.5 micron reference dosage of 0.5%.
Preservation: kept unopened at room temperature with a shelf life of two years.
