I wanted to share some recent news with all of you. I have always been committed to making a positive impact, it's crucial to address challenges as well as successes in my journey.
Recently, I had connected with a school in the hopes of sharing my experiences and insights with their students. Unfortunately, I received feedback from the school's head teacher that left me quite upset.
The feedback suggested that due to the challenging behavior of the students and a perceived decrease in compassion post-Covid, they did not believe their students would be receptive to my message. In fact, the head teacher expressed concerns that the students might not respond kindly to my condition and the way I look.
While I respect their perspective, I remain strong in my belief in the power of storytelling and connecting with young minds, especially during challenging times. I've always held the belief that every audience deserves a chance to engage with meaningful content, regardless of their past behavior or external circumstances.
The potential impact we can have on young individuals extends far beyond what we can immediately see. I am commitmented to being a positive influence wherever and whenever possible.
I am determined to find creative ways to connect with these students and inspire them to embrace their unique qualities and overcome obstacles. This is about empowering every student to reach their fullest potential, and I will keep on pursuing this ideal.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all my friends and colleagues for your unwavering support on this journey. Together, let's continue working towards making a meaningful difference in the lives of our future generations. ?? #EducationMatters #PositiveImpact #Resilience #StudentsMatter

4 个月Well that head teacher missed such a wonderful opportunity Amit, and denied his students the chance to learn about the big wide world and the challenges people face every day!

9 个月Wow this really is horrible to read ??. As someone who used to work in schools it’s definitely a missed opportunity. Young people are a lot more of responsive to things then we give them credit for. They ask questions to learn. Plus they could of learnt from you. In fact I think it’s the conditioning of some teachers to not have this open minded approach that is the issue. Having had positive and negative experiences working in schools and organising events I have seen this first hand. Your story of acceptance and self belief could of helped these students. They want this more then ever. Especially when a record number of students are going through anxiety and depression.

1 年A sad state of affairs that schools can pass up great opportunities to enlighten our youth. What have they got to lose if you are happy to do it? A great shame.
