Disease ridden UK train travel. Its worse than hospitals.

Having been back in the UK now for 8 months and lived through a cold, damp UK summer I have noticed that the UK is a disease laden country and many communities are full of even the smallest of impacting diseases.

How does this spread and more importantly do people actually care. I am starting to believe in the latter as being the truth of a fairly large percentage of the UK population. They just don’t care.

For the past 4 months I have been traveling into the City of London by train on probably the worst rail service I have used in the world (and I have been around the globe to some under developed countries) and using South Eastern Railways “@SE_Railway” is by far the worst. The trains are late, things are broken, the trains are not clean, and a lot of the people using them are the most uncaring in the world.

Disease Spreads as fast as a bullet train!

This leads me to the point of this article. The spreading of diseases in the UK and in particular on the train network. I see every more people standing full of cold and flu symptoms sneezing, coughing and spluttering all over people next to them in the carriages.

They don’t have a care in the world, they sniff their way into London and spread their disease.

Is this the real way of the people living in the UK nowadays? Do people really actually even care. They are spreading disease in the UK as fast as a bullet train.

I am not sure they do care!!!

Couln't agree more! Not just trains Tube and Busses too! For partial protection- Wear a scarf round your face and above all wash hands thoroughly on getting to your final destination.

Windows are covered with splattered sneeze, dry saliva and dust . Never been cleaned for months when commuters are increasingly paying a highly inflated fares to travel in such a poorly maintained/and cleaned carriages. I travel regularly using Midlands London trains which is in such a poor state. We commuters are squeezd in like a can of sardine so to speak. The operators are oblivious of health implication as for the passengers given such a very confined carriage where indoor air is scorched to 25 C and desiccated below 28 % relative humidity (RH). This is scandalous by all standards and in particular contravene the key principles of Health and Safety Regulations regarding indoor air quality and Air exchange per hour (ACH) for which they should be made accountable..
