Discussion on the application of advanced international pedagogical experience in improving the quality of education

On June 2nd of this year, with the participation of professors and lecturers from the Samarkand International University of Technology, a meeting was organized for the faculty of the Samarkand Regional National Center for Teacher Training (Samarkand Regional Pedagogical Center) to familiarize them with the foreign experience of SIUT. The topic of the meeting was “Using foreign experience to improve the quality of education”.
The meeting was attended by the SIUT rector, Professor Yusuf Abdullaev, as well as several foreign professors: the head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Professor Mohammad Gouse Galety (India); Professor of Applied Mathematics, Jimbo Henry Claver (Cameroon); and Professor Ronald Wiley (USA). Professor Yusuf Abdullaev detailed the ongoing projects, educational directions, achievements, and future plans of the university to the Pedagogical Center staff.
“Teachers are the ones who change the world!” – Professor Abdullaev emphasized – “If you dream, work hard, and make bold efforts, you will surely achieve any goal. These thoughts are based on my 60 years of pedagogical experience and have proven themselves in practice”.

It was noted that our country pays special attention to the education sector. Professor Mohammad Galety, in his speech, focused on the importance of using advanced foreign teaching methods to improve the quality of secondary and higher education, as well as the factors for creating a favorable educational environment to attract foreign specialists to the educational process. In addition, Professor Ronald Wiley stressed that a crucial task of the education sector is to identify talented students and guide them towards the profession that interests them and their dreams.
Following the meeting, SIUT and the Samarkand Regional Pedagogical Center agreed to hold negotiations on issues such as attracting foreign and local experienced teachers to academic and research processes, as well as cooperation on joint projects.
Such meetings between the SIUT faculty and their colleagues from the Samarkand Regional Pedagogical Center are held regularly.
