Discussing money over a cup of tea :)

Discussing money over a cup of tea :)

So, like most millennials I love to pick up books, stick to them as long as I can and then pick up another book.

And I came to realize that I have a commitment issue, therefore I joined the GOC Book Club.

There was one book that intrigued me enough to actually finish it. It was Psychology of Money, so I grabbed that book without wasting a single second of weekdays.?

It had two most interesting topics 1. Money 2. Psychology.?

Cherry on cake was the book was about the Psychology of Money.

Goc Book club organizes sessions with various Authors. This time we had an Author Talk with Morgan Housel.?

Yeah, you guessed it right Morgan Housel is the author of that book.?

The session was at 12:30 am IST , and let me state that sleeping late due to the session was totally worth it.?

Sharing Top 3 learning insights from the session.

  • Never Compare yourself with others, know what is important to you and plan your financial goals accordingly!
  • Understand the difference between needs and wants, live within your income, and don't take on any unnecessary debt.
  • The most important part of every plan is planning on your plan not going according to plan. Basically have a backup plan.

There is a lot more in the book I highly suggest do take a peak!

Also do let me know What's your favorite read! ??

Insightful ????
