Salary is one of the most important criteria for employers and job seekers, but most wait until they’ve reviewed everything else before discussing these expectations.
Avoid unsuccessful negotiation, hiring frustrations, and wasted efforts for everyone involved by bringing up the candidate’s expected salary range from the onset. Be transparent if you can’t offer that salary with a clear explanation of why that’s the case and why your company would like to proceed with the interview process.
?If you’re able to offer them the job with their expected salary, don’t lowball them. Get your new hire excited about working for your company with a genuine offer that demonstrates your eagerness to bring them on board!

1 年I have worked projects where I have been on the road 40 weeks in a year, and I have also worked projects "remote" from home or our local office. Salary is only 1/2 of the equation. Every opportunity carries tangible and intangible benefits and also costs! Fully talking through the nature and expectations of the work can make a big difference in salary requirements.
