Celebrating Inclusion and Understanding ADHD on a Personal Level
In honour of ADHD Awareness Month, we’re reflecting on the importance of understanding people’s unique experiences beyond a business context. Our Commercial Director, Sarah Evans , has been exploring Ellie Middleton ’s book, How to Be You, which offers practical insights for working with a neurodivergent mind.
The book sheds light on the real-life impact of ADHD and encourages embracing each other's strengths. It’s a reminder that true inclusivity starts by connecting on a personal level, creating understanding, and embracing individuality.
What can we each do, not just as colleagues, but as humans to create understanding and connection?

Recruitment Project Manager at Discovery
3 个月A great round up of what's been happening in and around our world here at Discovery ADR. I was particularly interested by Sarah Evans post about positive masculinity in the workplace, however it prompted me to explore it further. From reading the article Sarah was involved in at HR Magazine along with further research, it can readily be understood how respect, empathy, and emotional intelligence, helps break down harmful stereotypes and from there how healthy communication, fosters inclusivity, and supports diverse leadership styles. Embracing positive masculinity leads to a more collaborative, supportive environment, driving both personal growth and organizational success. Thanks for sharing your article Sarah, it certainly provide me with much food for thought!
