A USAID funded project, supported by The Ministry of Foreign Cooperation, was begun to decrease the level of the water table around the temples on the west bank of Luxor. The team that led the salvage archaeology campaign was headed by the first author of this paper, who selected a wonderful group of archaeologists to watch out for the discovery of any new artifacts or monuments along the route of the new sewage system being built there. The team consisted of Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Mohamed Abdel Badea, Abdel Ghaffar Wagdy, El Taieb Mohamed Khodary, and Omar Abou Zied.
