I have heard many marketers expressing their shared belief that Twitter is not a cost-effective social media in terms of sales like some others. I thought of Twitter as a serious platform where you may find professionals who know what they are talking about. Somehow, I agreed it was unsuitable for positioning or increasing sales.?

?After reading experiences from professional marketers and understanding better how to handle Twitter, I have found how valuable this social media could be for MSME and big companies to gain notoriety and increase audience engagement. I want to share a few things that could help to improve any given company's performance on Twitter and gain traffic to their website.?

  • Improve your profile. Write a good and straightforward biography that says a few words about your company and how good you are in your specialty. High-quality pictures for your profile are essential.?
  • ?Share helpful content of yours and from others, including your competitors. Your audience will see how much you care for them to be well informed about things regarding your specialty, even though it means you must convey what others have to say about something you are an expert.?
  • ????Hashtags are fundamental too! Many people think hashtags are useless, but they facilitate the identification and indexing of content; they are essential communication tools. Journalists, newspapers, and customers use hashtags to get information about specific topics.
