Discovering the Spirit of Excellence

" If you focus on being the BEST YOU in every situation, then the Spirit of Excellence starts to take root and grow in you...."
This is the definition of "Excellence" - "BEING THE BEST YOU IN EVERY SITUATION".
You are never meant to feel condemned and low because you don't measure up to the world's view of what "Excellence" is.
God's view of Excellence is YOU being the BEST YOU....since we are all called to different things in life-based on the gifts and talents we have been blessed with, hence ONLY YOU can be the BEST YOU....no one else can!
The world's view again is " COMPARISON and COMPETITION" which always leaves us feeling "not good enough".
However, the true SECRET of being happy and contented in life is first DISCOVERING your special talents and gifts and then stirring it up by applying it and becoming good at it as you bless others with it.
You see not every basketballer can become like LeBron James, nor every cardiac surgeon can become like Dr Ben Carson....they have their own talents and abilities which they have developed and used greatly, however, this does not make them better than others, instead, they are simply different!
My question to you is as follows:
1) Are you on a pathway to discover your gifts and talents?
2) Do you know what your gifts and talents are?
Here are some ways we can use to discover our gifts and talents:
1. You are normally good at it - be it public speaking, or writing or singing or in maths/figures or in conceptual thinking or in music etc.
2. There will be an inner joy and satisfaction in your spirit from deep inside of you every time you apply and function in your gifts and talents;
3. You will be a natural in it...
4. Your friends, colleagues and others will testify to you that you are talented in the area where your gifts are operating;
5. You will start growing in these gifts and talents because the opportunities keep opening up to use it more and more...
6. You will start to have a deep assurance of this talents/gifts within you to the point where you will start pursuing opportunities to use them.
In summary, the Spirit of Excellence can rest on anyone as long as they are functioning to the best of their gifts and talents in blessing others with it.
