Are you feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or de-motivated in your procurement career? Understanding your "Why" is a key to unlocking clarity, motivation, and longer-term career happiness. Here’s how discovering and embracing your "Why" can elevate your procurement career.

Why Your "Why" Matters

  1. Clarity and Focus: Your "Why" can guide your career, helping you to make decisions which are fully aligned with your goals and values.
  2. Motivation and Resilience: When challenges arise, your "Why" ignites your passion and gives you the energy to keep pushing forward.
  3. Authenticity and Fulfilment: Aligning your career with your "Why" brings deeper satisfaction and meaningful success.

My Journey to Discovering My "Why"

Discovering my “Why” has quite literally been life-changing for me. I fell in love with recruitment early in my career and I’m still hugely motivated by seeing the positive impact that the right role or career can have on someone’s life. But, over 20 years of the longest hours and putting the needs of my clients above my own meant that something needed to change for me.

After some deep soul-searching and challenging questions, I gained clarity over my future purpose.

·?????? To be able to help more procurement professionals find direction, confidence and more happiness in their career.

·?????? To partner with procurement professionals to help them stand out in a more competitive market, gain visibility of more relevant roles, and successfully make a move that feels right.

·?????? To focus on the happiness and needs of myself and my family, alongside my clients’.

Purpose is one of my core values and I’m passionate about building my career to align with my own “Why”, and to help others to do the same.
