Recently, I stumbled upon an engaging and inspiring book by Simon Sinek "Start with Why." The more I read his principles and the stories of other CEO's I reflected on our core values of "work-life balance", "be a musketeer" (teamwork), and "smile for goodness sake" (have a sense of humor).? I found myself struggling to align our mission, vision, and values with our true purpose - our "why."? It wasn't that our why was hazy or lost - I just hadn't devoted time to truly think about why we do what we do.?

I realized that our "what" and "how" are obvious to anyone we work with.? While that is important to know, it's not why I get out of bed every morning - and it's not where my passion is.? Finding "Why" isn't just an aspirational process it's the driving force behind everything we do in such a difficult industry.? After much internal reflection and discussion with Arianny Damian RMS, CMS our "why" is crystal clear: Leave People Better.?

This belief extends beyond our desire to provide as smooth a process to our customers as we can. It's about striving to make a positive impact in every interaction, leaving people in a better place than they were before. Whether it's helping a client recover from a disaster or supporting our associates in their personal and professional growth, our mission is to leave people better in every possible way.?

However, defining our company's "why" wasn't enough. I also needed to find my personal "why" within this broader context.? I realized that my purpose aligns perfectly with our company's mission: to leave people better. Whether it's through mentorship, support, or simply sharing a smile, I am committed to making a difference in the lives of those we employ and work with.?

As we continue to grow in this industry, I'm excited to see how our shared commitment to starting with why will shape our future. Together, we work to create a workplace where everyone thrives, both personally and professionally.

Remember, starting with why isn't just about uncovering a catchy slogan; it's about discovering the true purpose that propels you and your organization forward every day.? It makes the difficult tasks we all must work through endurable - it refreshes our spirit and helps us push through.?
