Welcome to our newsletter???
Hi everyone, I'm so happy to be writing this July's?update.
I'm Lyana?Chan?and I've been at?Unit since 2020?when I decided to cross-qualify over?to the Bar. Prior to this, I was a local authority solicitor for 14 years working in a busy legal department for children's services.?
I specialise in both public and private children law, accepting instructions on behalf of both local authorities and parents. Thanks to many?years spent on the local authority side, I have an in-depth knowledge of the workings of social services, practices and policies, regulations, governance and good practice.?
I hope you enjoy this month's newsletter and I look forward to catching up with you all soon.
Best, Lyana
