DISCOVER by RR Kabel - March 2024

RR Kabel has consistently been a disruptor in the Electrical Equipment field, in terms of product, safety and quality. More recently though, RR Kabel has been creating disruption on the social side. Understanding the importance of reshaping the traditional methods of operation in our field, in order to chart out a more efficient and sustainable future for our industry.?

This edition of DISCOVER will go through some of the important activities we undertook in February as a brand. We also cover the inauguration of a monumental project and a striking interview with our Director.?

We hope that by now, all our readers will be well aware of our Kabel Star program. For those of you who are new to it - this is a initiative started by our company last year, to provide education scholarships to the children of our Electrician community.

RR Kabel is closely associated with a community of over 2000 electricians across India and we created this program to give support to this community that has been instrumental in our growth. Look out for a dedicated article on Kabel Star next month!

In the last leg of Season 2 of Kabel Star, our team traveled to 5 different cities across the country, to reward these exceptional students for their achievements. Lucknow, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore and Jaipur! It was truly a heartwarming experience to see the pride and emotion of the students and their families. Our Director Mrs. Kirti Kabra, and our CSO Mr. Shishir Sharma have led this program and been present at each and every stage of it!?

We couldn’t be more proud of our leaders!

UDAaN

Talent recruitment is essential to shape the future of any organization. With ours it’s exactly the same. In our industry, talent recruitment is often something to which only limited resources are allocated. This is a real loophole, and one that we identified very quickly. We decided to kickstart our initiative UDAaN,?

a recruitment programme targeting the top Business schools in India, looking for future leaders in Finance, Sales, HR and Marketing. After multiple rounds of assessment, discussions and interviews, we selected 2 students for each field to shadow our CXOs and prepare themselves to become future leaders at RR Kabel! They have had the opportunity to interact with our management leaders and will be joining our team in the summer.?

Hearty congratulations to them! We’re excited to add them to our talented workforce.

DEI Fireside Chat

As part of our ongoing efforts to raise awareness on the importance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace, our CXOs and Kirti Kabra, led a fireside chat with the management of the RR Kabel organization. This chat (webinar) was an attempt to outline the strategies for implementing change and awareness in DEI. The best practices, and aims that an organization must have to harness the benefits of this social initiative.?

A Monumental Step for Make In India.?

On 22nd Feb, 2024, RR Kabel was proud to be a part of the opening of the Banas Dairy Processing Plant, Varanasi, for Amul. The Plant was opened by PM Shri. Narendra Modi, in front of a large audience from Varanasi.

We supplied Banas Dairy with our state of the art Instrumentation (control) cables which provide disturbance free signal transmission to ensure reliability in the dairy manufacturing process. Control cables can detect slight changes in content levels, ensuring consistency over a range of products/samples.

Our Control cables are EMI and EMC compliant and hence could be reliably installed in a factory environment of the scale of Banas Dairy. This project is another step in our commitment to Make in India, as all of these products are manufactured in our factories in Waghodia or Silvassa.?

ECAMEX 2024

As the proud main sponsors, RR Kabel kicked off ECAMEX 2024 with an inauguration by the esteemed ????. ?????????? ?????????????????? ??????????, the Minister of State for Panchayati Raj.

It was an honour for Director, RR Parkon, Mr. Rajesh Kabra to interact with him, sharing insights on electrical safety and reinforcing our pledge towards preventing electrical accidents.

Mr. Naitik Punamiya, our product marketing head, contributed his insights on the essential role of wires and cables in ensuring electrical safety and safeguarding lives at a panel discussion on the 27th Feb, at ECAMEX.?

A Chat with Hurun India

Our Director Shreegopal Kabra spoke at length with Hurun India last month. He gave them an insight into the journey of RR Kabel, sharing his inputs as a seasoned entrepreneur, and a blueprint for the transformation of a small Indian company into a global brand. Mr Kabra detailed out some of the difficulties RR Kabel faced in its nascent stages, and how they managed to overcome these in a unique manner.?
