Hurun India - Global Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Our Director Mr. Shreegopal Kabra was felicitated last month with the Global Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Hurun India, recognising his impact in the Electrical Solutions industry, and his remarkable business acumen that has seen RR Global grow leaps and bounds each year.?

Quality Control Circle Competition - CII, Gujarat State Level

Most recently, our “Sankalp” team, from the Wires and Cables Division, Waghodia, won the 2nd Runner-Up Award at the 10th Edition of CII’s Gujarat State Level ‘Quality Control Circle Competition 2024’. You can read more about it here! Their study was titled: “Reduction in Packing Error by 90%”.?

Kabel Star 2024 takes off

As the New Year celebrations came to a close, RR Kabel was already on the way to making new dreams come true.

The massively impactful Kabel Star Program, which is focused on providing education scholarships to meritorious students from different backgrounds, now enters its third year. We'd like to thank parents, guardians, students and teachers alike for the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve received.

The Kabel Star program, led by Ms Kirti Kabra and Mr. Shishir Sharma , visited Bangalore, Hubli, Pune and Mumbai over the course of the month, to provide 70+ scholarships to deserving students. This was only the start, with another 5 cities to cover through February!

Keep supporting us and these hard-working students - investment in education is the way forward for India!

IEEMA 2024

While the Kabel Star Train was making its way across the country, our talented team members were making their own mark! Mr. Naitik Punamiya led a Panel Discussion on the implications of the Quality Control Order (QCO) by GOI on DC Fire Survival Cable and Solar Cables. Some of the key points of this new legislation are explained here. The talk was at the IEEMA’s 2024 Buildec and Distribulec convention, at Bombay Exhibition Centre. We also had a stall where we were showcasing the strides we’ve made in safety innovation across the electrical industry in India. A big thank you to all who participated in this event.

LIFT (In collaboration with NMIMS)

Our latest initiative LIFT (Leadership, Innovation, Foresight & Transformation) - a talent opportunity programme for postgraduate students, in collaboration with NMIMS - kicked off last month. The program gives these students an opportunity to work with RR Kabel for an entire year on a LIVE PROJECT!! It will be a massive step in providing these young professionals with real-world experience, under the guidance of some of the leading experts in this Industry.?

After a robust selection process, the finalists were briefed about expectations and project management basics by Mr. Shreegopal Kabra MD, RR Global and Mr. Vinod Parur , CHRO, RR Kabel. They will now be assigned to the relevant projects and teams to begin this journey!
