Discover the Potential of 2.5D microstructuring
Thin-film technologies are often not very obvious and yet many technical applications would be unthinkable without them. A large number of high-tech applications are currently characterized by a 2-dimensional structure. The workshop "Thin Film Technology | Future Applications of 2.5 D Materials" takes up the potential of 2.5D structuring - discuss various possible applications with speakers and participants.

Dominique Collé , Heidelberg Instruments , takes us into the world of lithography - in his lecture he presents 3 advanced solutions for the generation of 2.5D structures with minimal structure sizes in the nanometer range, which can be highly complex and complicated. These structures are used, for example, in micro-optics.
In his presentation, Dr. Ir. Johan Bosman , TNO , will focus on laser technology as a key technology for the production of thin-film solar modules and cells in relation to various solar technologies.
We are also pleased to present Florian Fuchs , Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nano Systems ENAS. He will present various simulation activities to understand graphene-based macromaterials, with a focus on graphene-based thin films.
