Discover Our New Irish Guide with a Pittsburgh Twist!

I would like to share a fun side project I created that blends two places I call home, Pittsburgh and Ireland. With St. Patrick's Day this weekend I thought it would be a good time to share yinzer.live with you. This virtual Irish guide is designed with a unique twist, combining expert knowledge on Ireland's landmarks, culture, and history with a distinct Pittsburgh dialect.

Here is just one example below, when asked “How many castles in Ireland?” it starts off with “Alright, yinz ready to embark on a journey that’d make even the most seasoned Kennywood enthusiast think twice? We’re talking bout a trek across Ireland to explore castles—some of which are as storied and majestic as the view of the Golden Triangle from Mount Washington.”

And then it goes on to give more details on the requested information with. “Now, to give yinz a ballpark figure (naturally, thinkin’ PNC Park with its beautiful skyline), estimates suggest there are over 30,000 castles and ruins scattered across the Emerald Isle. Yeah, you heard me right, more than 30,000! That’s more than enough to keep even the nosiest neb-nose exploring for a lifetime.” and finishes off with “Among these, a few iconic ones stand out like Sidney Crosby in a street hockey game. We're talkin’ about the likes of Blarney Castle, where kissing the Blarney Stone supposedly gives yinz the gift of gab—handy for talkin’ yerself out of a parking ticket in dahntahn Pittsburgh. Then there’s the majestic Ashford Castle, which is more upscale than the Duquesne Club’s dress code, and the hauntingly beautiful Dunluce Castle, perched on the edge of a cliff like it’s trying to get a peek at the Steelers’ playbook.”

As you can see it’s designed to bring a smile and maybe even a laugh. It’s a fun and immersive way to explore Irish culture ?or research Ireland before you embark on a journey there. Imagine receiving recommendations for Ireland's must-visit pubs, historical sites, and hidden gems, all conveyed with the friendly, down-to-earth vibe characteristic of Pittsburgh locals.

Yinzer.live is hosted at https://usersight.work/ai-personal-yinz/ as it’s still a work in progress. However just put yinzer.live in the URL and you will get redirected there

I'd love for you to give Yinzer.live a go, and share your feedback, either leave a comment here, IM me or give feedback via the form on the yinzer.live page . Your insights will be invaluable and help me perhaps turn this into something more or could you see yourself using something like this if it had more to offer?

I’d appreciate your thoughts and any suggestions you might have.

Thank You

Love how you're mixing cultures ??! It reminds me of how innovation springs from the fusion of different perspectives. As Marie Curie once hinted, blending our worlds opens doors to new discoveries ???. Keep creating!

Love it John!
