Discover how to be a more disruptive B2B

Disruption is a buzzword in business today particularly in B2B. Businesses everywhere are swearing that they are causing a ripple in their chosen marketplace. But what exactly makes a business disruptive?

Well we believe we're truly a disruptive business here at InShip for several reasons which could guide you to becoming more of a game changer.

Innovation:

Almost every B2B company claims they can save businesses time and money with their service or product, but is your offering actually innovative enough to do so and to truly make a difference to a business. At InShip we have designed an automated invoice processing system that is truly innovative. Our developers have created a system that has transformed how a business processes their suppliers invoices so they never have to go back to doing it manually. We identified a problem that all businesses have and solved it. Game Changer!

Solve a real problem

As mentioned above , at InShip , through previous experience in different jobs we found out that processing invoices manually was a real pain. It was simply a waste of money and massive amounts of time. Nothing was done about it so we decided to change the way things were done. Sometimes it's not a good idea to reinvent the wheel. To be a bit more disruptive it can help in changing that wheel a bit.

Piggyback

One great tip for any B2B attempting to breakthrough would be to find an existing B2B and to create something that would add value to their product or service. Focus all of your sales pitches and marketing around this in order to show people what they are missing out on. At InShip we have developed our system to be able to upload all processed invoices to any accounts package that a business is using. Non of the accounts packages available can process invoices. Accounts payable departments mostly manually process suppliers invoices and then manually upload them to their accounts package. InShip takes all of the hassle away from this. See how we're quite disruptive?

Marketing

One aspect of B2B can be marketing. Be prepared to be different and do things that other B2B businesses aren't doing. Some things are now essential in B2B marketing such as this blog that i'm currently writing or presence on LinkedIn,Twitter and Facebook to a certain extent. But how about branching out and developing new social media accounts. At Inship we use Instagram and have found that it is getting a lot more traction than traditional B2B social channels. Creating a story around your B2B can build a better rapport amongst potential customers. Latest figures for Snapchat users show that their users are getting older. Used correctly, these forms of social media can be a great method of boosting your presence online, attracting new clients and improving your SEO. Perhaps we'll all be using Pokemon Go to sell our B2B products...
