I think the biggest step in the Just Socials 2 years history. Hiring another Director, I never thought I would be in a position to do this but I read a quote a couple of months back saying you need to employ people that are strong at your weaknesses, and it’s so true…I am doing that. Let’s go 5 Year Growth Plan ??? #newbusiness #socialmediamarketingagency

"You just can't beat the person who never gives up." - New York Yankees legend, Babe Ruth. In the sales world, you'll find plenty of times of wanting to throw in the towel. It's the easy choice when things get hard. However, the people who succeed in this industry are the ones who embrace the hard days and just keep going. When I look at our Austin office here at Insight Global, I pray that we are known as a team who is consistently relentless and continuously finds creative ways to deliver for our clients. I want us to be known as people who just didn't give up. #sales #recruiting #staffing

Neuromodulation Talent Acquisition Partner | Paving the Path for NeuroTech Start-ups | Trusted Board Advisor | Hanison Green Founder | RFC & RMC Co-founder | Changer of Lives
If you're a #Neuromodulation start-up preparing to enter the market, have you been wondering what the best Commercial organization structure is for your company? There are several options to consider, including CCO, Commercialization VP, National Sales Director, Marketing Director, and Market Access reporting to one of the above, Sales VP and Marketing VP reporting straight to the CEO, or remove the siloed approach and instead hire a Sales & Marketing VP or Director. Alternatively, you could hire an individual contributor VP/Director to execute a soft launch ahead of building out the commercial team medium-term. Or, you could opt for a purely strategic VP building their commercial squad ahead of launch for a faster/harder launch. Or many other options. Of course there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The objective and expectations set by the board and investors, market conditions for your particular indication/modality, and commercialization budget available all play a role in determining the optimal structure for your organization. What do you think? Is there a structure that tends to work better than others? #neurostimulation #commercialization #organizationaldesign

Jack Hooper is an incredibly thoughtful and inspiring founder and this conversation with him reinforced how lucky I feel to support founders build great teams every day. One nugget from Jack is that he asks every employee during their first week at Take Command what they want to be doing when they leave the company. I love how this one questions showcases 3 great traits of leadership: 1. Humility. Take Command is a stop along their journey but may not be the final destination. 2. Curiosity. Learning about your employees goals and dreams gives you better insight on how to best serve them. 3. Care. By giving each employee a chance to share personally, it shows true care and creates a sense of belonging. Thank you, Jack!!
We hired his VP of Sales. Our team raved about him daily. We're hiring his Director of Growth Marketing. Our team insisted we invite him to our annual offsite. Jack Hooper, thanks for taking us behind the scenes and letting us know what life, work and culture look like as a Series B Founder & CEO. It's a sincere privilege to watch you lead and scale Take Command. ?? #founderstories #culturematters

This is a post for VP's hiring new team members Have you thought of "WHy someone should come and work for you?" What is your brand? Is your recruiting team communicating this? How are they communicating this? By the end of the first call, do the candidates say "I would like to work for this person?" This is someone I can work with and grow! Each interaction is an opportunity to create your image, your brand. This goes both ways - for clients and candidates. Candidate and Client experience is real! Talk to us to understand how to get this right! #employerbranding #recruiting #executivebranding

I asked a fellow Value Creation team member from another VC, "Hey, what are you up to these days?" His short, flat answer made me ponder the entire day: "I'm busy enriching our portfolio companies." As simple as it sounds, that one line completely changed my perspective and how I approach things. I was so fixated on aspects like BD, Hiring, PR, and community events, all the while forgetting WHY I'm engaging in these activities. My role is intended to generate value or bring dollars to the portfolio companies we've invested in. We assist in hiring key leaders because we understand that poor hiring can cost time and money. We facilitate connections and unlock partnership deals because they contribute to generating revenue. We organize community events so that our portfolio companies can connect with new investors and other founders to synergize along the way. All that we do is aimed at helping our portfolio companies scale and succeed. Being reminded again of WHY I am here as a part of the Value Creation team makes me excited to expand my connections and learn more from all of you. PS: I'm still hiring for VP of Sales and B2B Sales Manager, ping me to learn about the opportunities!

Revenue Growth Strategist | Corporate Governance | ESG Practitioner | Strategic Planning & Execution | Sales & Marketing Specialist (B2B, B2C) | International Business Development | Business & Management Scientist?
Every time we go into a problem, we try to get perspectives from all audiences. That includes the C-level executives and, most importantly, people in the field. When we have that 360-degree view of a problem, we get better insights into the nuances of an issue and how best to solve it. - Sajit Joseph #hiring
