Disconfirming evidence.

Disconfirming evidence.

Whether you are planning for your business or for your personal financial strategy, the expectation is not to be 100% right. The plan should be to make the best decision possible given the information at hand, and then to look for disconfirming evidence as time goes on and you get more information. We humans love to look for evidence that backs up our existing decisions so that we become “more right,” but in reality, it may be more important to find disconfirming evidence so we can become “less wrong.” Know that the plan you create is inevitably going to be wrong, and then endeavor to make it less wrong over time.

To look at the disconfirming evidence helps you make modifications, make less mistakes in the future and ultimately become more wise.
