MACRO Recruitment uses the DISC model to recruit staff for their clients.Our MD presents regular workshops on DISC around Australia.

MACRO took on DISC to help address the problem of employees that were highly productive in their past employment, failing to meet the same high levels in the new employment.

What we found was that the level of emotional intelligence of their supervisor, themselves and the team as a whole was critical to their success. So in addition to selecting the right profile for the right job, we took on educating the employer on how to best manage the new employee. This took on its own momentum as job seekers, sales managers and non-clients of MACRO approached us looking to know more.

Every 6 weeks of so, Daryl Keeley presents an evening workshop on leadership using the DISC model. He'll gladly tell you that this is one of his favorite workshops, because every time, during the workshop, his hairs on the back of his neck will rise as the penny drops with attendees. He talks of an almost spiritual awakening as the "Ah-ha" moment crosses the room. A visible relief comes across the faces of managers as they better understand themselves and their direct reports.
