Amazon customers who ordered PlayStation 5 in Great Britain receive the above instead console. The shocking behaviour of the company was described by the journalist Bex April May, who got a fryer instead of PlayStation 5.
Amazon press spokesman informed the public that they are investigating the case and that victims can contact customer support. Clients also have an option of a refund. However, is this a satisfactory solution?
The representatives of the trading company promised to contact each of the customers to solve the problem. Presumably the consoles were stolen, which explains the cartons taped with plain tape without the Amazon logo.
Although the premiere of PlayStation 5 took place on the 12th of November, and in some countries on November 19th, the console has already sold out and the interest in the video game console created by Sony Interactive Entertainment has exceeded producer’s expectations.
Amazon apologized to its customers and is expected to offer gift cards to compensate the victims, but the disgust and dissatisfaction after failed transactions remains with clients who instead spend their free time playing games, spend it by contacting Amazon customer service to explain the situation.
