Disable Add-Ins to Improve Outlook Performance and Stability
I have been writing shell scripts as shortcuts for commands that I use commonly, which I invoke from a bash shell using Windows Subsystem for Linux (https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/replace-windows-run-dialog-wsl-bash-shell-john-west/).
I noticed some strange WSL console output recently. I believe that one or more google add-ins for Outlook uses the console for diagnostic messages. I do not use these add-ons and Outlook may be faster and more stable if I disable them.
To disable Outlook add-ins, in Outlook, click File, and then click Options from the menu that appears. In the Outlook Options dialog that appears, click the Add-ins category, and then click Go. In the COM Add-ins dialog that appears, clear the checkboxes for Add-ins that you do not use.

I wonder where those debugging messages go when Outlook is not invoked from bash.
