Dirty Lenses Distorts Your View On Employees, Partners, Family And Situations

Vision is what we see, but it is also the way in which we see it. It is the lens that interprets the events of our lives, it is the way we view our business, employees and partners. Many of us wake up every morning headed to work without cleaning your lenses. This causes us to have a distorted view of everything, person, and situation that is placed in front of us.

Looking through dirty lenses give us the perception that everything around us is unfit, unqualified, undeserving, unwilling, unbelievable and untrue, but the problem actually lies with us because our vision is impaired. I guess the question you have to ask yourself is this: Are the lenses you are looking through clean?

Have you accused someone of inappropriate behavior and you were wrong?

Has someone asked you a question and you gave them the wrong answer?

Did you intentionally bypass someone who you knew needed your help?

Do you put yourself before others?

If the answer to theses questions are yes, make it a daily habit of cleaning your lenses when you wake up in the morning.

Dirty lenses causes us to judge without assessing behaviors.
