Kind of a hot topic.?Are you scared??

Is your job in danger??Your family??

Greg Abbott, Texas’s Governor is breaking Federal Law to “protect” the brave people of Texas.?

Many of you may not know or were alive to know that President Ronald Regan granted amnesty to 11 million immigrants.?

Do you know what kind work these folks do??

Mostly jobs you wouldn’t touch with a 10-foot pole:?dishwasher, busser, housecleaning in a hotel, cleaning person, day labor at a construction site, farm worker, etc.?

How do those jobs sound??Do you feel threatened??

Do you know why they’re showing up at our boarders??It’s aint for a handout.?

Usually, most of these immigrants are from Central America and Caribbean nations.

They are running from some real threat to themselves or family.?

How would you like to have to worry about your 10-year-old son being recruited by the local gang and threatened with getting beat up every day or worse??

Or maybe your 13-year-old daughter might be followed home by a group of teenage thugs wanting to rape her.?

Or your husband or wife’s business is being shaken down every week, pay up or else…?

Do you think this is BS??It’s not, how would you like this type of thing happening to you??

WHAT WOULD YOU DO???

Wait for something bad to happen, or try to do something for your family and get the hell out of there??

So, these families travel to the boarder of the US at their own peril, some on their own, some with coyotes, or others with a hefty fee, of which some recently were found in that trailer in San Antonio, Texas.?

Nice, eh??

The truth is, the United States needs immigrants.?

More importantly we need Congress to get off their collective ass’s and do SOMETHING.?

Do you know why nothing has been done about immigration in my entire lifetime???

Because it’s politically risky, and God forbid, our politicians should do right for the greater good of the county in lieu of getting re-elected.?

What’s so great about having an updated immigration policy??

For one thing, we can increase our tax base, we can have immigrants that are hiding in the shadows come out and have a path to citizenship.?

Most other Western Democracies do have immigration policies that are welcoming, and don’t typically take as many years to become citizens in the US.?

Most immigrants I’ve met have a great work ethic and they do jobs no American want or would do.?

Many start their own business and hire more people, again helping our economy and increase our shrinking tax base.?

This nonsense that immigrants come to sponge off the government is just that:?nonsense

They need to have a social security card to get any benefits, and the last time I checked they are not handing those out at the border.?

And perhaps most importantly, immigrants help with population growth.??

The White population has had negative growth for years, it is black and brown communities that procreate outpacing their White counterpart.?

I don’t know the answer for immigration policy, but closing our boarders is not what this country was founded upon.??
