Highlighted Dirt Role: International Company looking for Sales Manager for Americas

I am excited to share this role with you. We have been retained by an international company that is expanding in their US operations that is looking for a Sales leader to run both the North and South America markets.? This role is based in the Denver, Colorado area where the US Office team will be established.

The primary market will be mining/materials processing. This product has been used in the remediation of a legacy coal ash pond.

The company has a worldwide presence and has been bringing engineered solutions to the marketplace for over 50 years.?

I also have some major?Wastewater?needs in both Sales and Engineering nationwide with several companies. The EPA has made a ton of new rules for how utilities must deal with their wastewater and these PFAS rules are forcing a major need in those areas right now.

The Dirt News:

At the WOCA conference, I spoke with a manager from a major utility company that was explaining the strain that AI Data Center growth is putting on the grid .?

ERCOT CEO predicts that demand for electricity in Texas could nearly double in the next six years.

The Tennessee Valley Authority is moving to close more of its coal power plants and open new gas power plants, but are facing new extensive coal ash rules as well as new natural gas regulations.

I was also approached by EPRI at the conference to discuss what we can do with the workforce coming out of coal power plants and what other sectors they can move into. One possible option is bolstering the infrastructure movement to microgrid concepts. Large entities like the DOD and DOE will need an influx of workers until the transition to nuclear construction or microreactor construction begins .?

I would love to hear your ideas on what we can do now to help this pool of talented and technical workforce out until the transition to nuclear and other future energy happens.

The US Army is also making strides in strategic readiness by investing in new energy technologies and infrastructure.

The Construction industry had strong employment in May, adding jobs in numbers above expectations in every sector except residential specialty trade contractors which had flat growth.

#THEDIRT I am still talking with people that really enjoyed WOCA this year. Please message me directly if you have an interest in seeing the new trends we shared at this year's WOCA conference.

Top companies recognize the challenge of finding top talent as noted by Jacobs own Steve Cherry, Construction Division Manager. "With Jacobs being a leader in the energy utilities/CCR industries, locating and retaining top quartile employees is the hardest task to complete for a client. The most important thing when trying to locate a new person to your team is being partnered with Stu Keeter of MRI. Stu is one of the leading experts in the field of CCR; people from senior level managers to field engineers. He always has a knack for finding and locating the top talent in the U.S."

It’s important that we know each other! If we have not spoken before it makes sense for us to talk. There is no better time than NOW to see what is out there!
