Highlighted Dirt Role: International Company looking for Sales Manager for Americas.

I am excited to share this role with you. We have been retained by an international company that has been in the US that is looking for a Sales Leader to run both the North and South America markets. This role is based in the Denver Colorado area where the US Office team will be established.

The primary market will be mining/materials processing. This product has been used in the remediation of a legacy coal ash pond.

The company has a worldwide presence and has been bringing engineered solutions to the marketplace for over 50 years.?

Wastewater Needs in both Sales and Engineering Nationwide. The EPA has made a ton of new rules for how Utilities must deal with their wastewater and PFAS rules are forcing a major need in these areas right now. EPA 2024: Key Water and Wastewater Rules

  1. 2024 Roadmap to a Secure and Resilient Water and Wastewater Sector. EPA's strategic roadmap identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and priority actions to enhance resilience in the water sector.
  2. Effluent Guidelines: National regulatory standards for wastewater discharge to surface waters and sewage treatment plants.

PFAS Regulations

  1. First-Ever Nationwide Drinking Water Standards: EPA established enforceable limits for six PFAS chemicals in drinking water, including PFOA, PFOS, and GenX.
  2. Reporting Rules for PFAS Data: Manufacturers must report PFAS-related information under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)

The Dirt News:

1 million gallons of coal ash wastewater has spilled from Bowell Energy Center in Cohasset, Minnesota. Georgia environmental groups are pressing the EPA to enforce federal rules for coal ash cleanup involving Georgia Power's plans to store coal ash in unlined pits. The US Court of Appeals in D.C. ruled against utilities in a series of enforcement actions on coal ash.

As the Chevron deference is struck down by the US Supreme Court, we're already seeing new precedent for regulatory bodies being snubbed by courts for previously settled rules. Review of June's Job Numbers
