Job Overview: As the Director of Taxation at a Big 10 firm, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the tax practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services to clients.

You will play a key role in developing and implementing tax strategies, managing client relationships, and providing leadership to a team of tax professionals.

Responsibilities:

Client Service:- Provide expert advice to clients on complex tax issues, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.-

Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutions

2. Team Leadership:Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.Oversee the recruitment and retention of top talent within the tax practice

3 Tax Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement tax strategies for clients to optimize their tax positions and achieve business objectives.Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, advising clients on potential impacts and opportunities.

4. Risk Management:Assess and manage tax risks associated with client engagements, ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.Implement and maintain effective internal controls within the tax practice.

5. Business Development:Identify opportunities for business growth and client expansion, actively participating in business development activities.Collaborate with other service lines within the firm to provide integrated solutions to clients6.

6.Quality Assurance:Ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services, reviewing and approving tax filings, reports, and other client deliverables.Implement and maintain best practices and quality control processes within the tax practice.

7. Thought Leadership:Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including articles, publications, and presentations on tax-related topics.Represent the firm at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications:- Charted Accountant .- Extensive experience in tax consulting, with a focus on corporate taxation.-

Previous experience in a leadership role within a reputable accounting or consulting firm.-

Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.-

Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.-

Business development skills and a track record of successfully growing client relationships.-
