Global award winning assistance provider are looking for a Director of Insurance with experience in A&H to carry out a maternity contract for 13 months.
In this role you will manage existing insurance clients and grow the insurance client portfolio by bringing in new clients and develop existing client relationships to the fullest extent. You will be able to identify prospective insurance clients and sell the multiple offerings to them, encouraging both reasonable retainer fees and profitable case volumes arising from insurance clients’ customers making use of the operational services.
The focus of this role is to bring in revenue, so you will need to be driven and imaginative in how you approach this; you should consider new ways to approach prospective clients and ensure that the insurance offering is always priced competitively for the insurance market.
You will report to the COO, and on a day-to-day basis and manage the insurance executive who will provide the daily insurance operational/ admin tasks.
Objectives:
?Grow insurance retainer fees and achieve any other specific gross profit targets set.
?Ensure that insurance case fees are profitably (but competitively) priced thereby maximising the likelihood of high case volumes.
?Ensure that insurance invoice collection is addressed in a timely way.

?Monitor and improve/maintain consistent sales processes throughout the customer base that conform to the Company’s standards.
?Conceive and design new insurance products.
?Oversee the development of marketing literature and international campaigns relevant to insurance.
?Ensure thorough and continuous mutual liaison is achieved between insurance and the other departments.
?Undertake travel, attend conferences
You will need to have a good understanding of the A&H insurance market and the opportunities available within it. Good client relationship management and the ability to listen to and empathise with client requirements and develop bespoke solutions for them based on these.
The ability to develop long-term client relationships and have a strong network to be able to generate leads through cold calling and network approach to all potential clients.
