Anno 2016 blockchains are all over the place. Blockchain is the technology behind the well-known Bitcoin. However, the blockchain has many more use cases than just a cryptocurrency. I won’t go into many details on what the blockchain is and how it works. If you want to know more about this, I highly recommend checking out IBM Blockchain.
