Event: Dios announced additional diamond drill results on the K2 WI Target, NW Québec.
Impact: slightly negative. Results suggest a ~1.05 g/t Au x m metric, but the WI target shall likely warrant more exploration work.

·????????On April 14, 2021 Dios reported results from DDH-04 to DDH-08 from the helicopter-borne drill program on K2 gold WI target that comprised of 8 holes totaling 2017.4m on 100%-owned 8,350 ha property in James Bay Eeyou Istchee, Québec. Recall the K2 property is contiguous and largely on strike, to the SW, of Azimut’s Elmer gold property (see: (see: https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/azimut-exploration-inc-azm-v-more-interesting-results-eric-lemieux/). DDH-04 and 05 intersected a potential second gold zone 800m SE of holes DDH-01 to DDH-02 (PP-1 - IP anomaly) and defined on PP-2 up to 1m @ 3.78 g/t Au in association with a feldspar diorite & foliated gabbro contact with 0.5% pyrite. On PP-2, DDH-05 hit an intercept of 1m @ 3.78 g/t Au at 129-130 m depth and DDH-04 intersected 1m @ 0.08 g/t Au at 32-33 m depth. Both holes are located ~800 m SE of DDH-01 which cut medium-coarse grained tonalite-diorite grading up to 1m @ 8.92 g/t Au. Recall on March 9, 2021, Dios had announced partial results from its maiden drill program on the WI Target area (https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/dios-exploration-inc-dos-v-active-elmer-area-its-k2-project-lemieux). The PP-2 gold intercept is on same strike as Cinnamon showing that returned up to 10 g/t Au in outcrop in a shear structure of same direction. It is inferred that PP-1 is located on the hanging wall of a significant electro-magnetic conductor, whilst PP-2 (sub-parallel to PP-1 on the southern side) would be of the footwall of the resistivity anomaly corridor.
·????????Other targets did not hit substantial gold: On the PP-3 anomaly, DDH-07 cut sections of a fractured and sheared gabbro with 1% pyrrhotite & traces of chalcopyrite (48.30-57.00m and 82.75-91.25m depth) but with values below 0.5 g/t Au. On the PP-4 anomaly, DDH-08 intersected several foliated basic dykes (1 to 6.3m thick) hosting 2-4% quartz-carbonate stringers with 1% pyrite within 10-20 m intervals of fractured tonalite as well as another foliated & fractured section (143-165.50m depth) of biotitized tonalite hosted 2% quartz-carbonate stringers & 1% pyrite, but assay results were not provided. On the PP-5 anomaly, DDH-06 cut sections of a of a foliated tonalite with strong biotite alteration and up to 0.5% pyrite that only gave 1m @ 0.112 g/t Au.
·????????Again, targets remain: Good NE up-ice targets remain untested such as: i) the significant 10–20m wide gold bearing Curcuma shear zone, grading up to 1.12 g/t Au in outcrop; ii) the southern contact between Kali pluton and adjacent volcanics (along an enriched gold-in-till drumlin feature). Again, drill intercepts have apparently not encountered the volcanic rock units that could be the source of the mineralized sericitic dacite boulders that graded up to 6.72 g/t Au in the WI target area. Additional soil and rock sampling as well as IP surveys are warranted.

Attila is located to south of the Kali intrusion and 2 drill holes hit visually mineralized zones (DDH-09 and DDH-10) with, it is stated, numerous mineralized intervals varying between 15 to 40 m thick and between 22 to 46 m thick. On May 11, 2021, Dios reported the identification of strong first priority IP anomalies in southeastern portion of the K2 property with good related gold, copper and As in-soil anomalous clusters. The K2-Solo claim block, with no royalties, covers 83,500 ha in Eeyou Istchee-James Bay and is contiguous to the SW of Azimut’s Elmer gold property and the Patwon showing (see: https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/azimut-exploration-inc-azm-v-more-interesting-results-eric-lemieux/ and https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/more-work-elmer-area-james-bay-eeyou-istchee-region-nw-eric-lemieux/?published=t).
A significant kilometric scale size target (A48) was defined and is composed of a cherty iron formation with pyrite and graphite within mafic volcanic flows and tuffs, south of Opinaca Fault, near cross-cutting structures. It is coincidental with a 3.5 km-long minimum VLF-EM conductor associated with a good magnetic lineament. Its northeastern limit, covered by a historical IP survey (Barrick 1997), is coincidental with a very good chargeable conductor (P-11 - 7 to 50 mV/V). B-horizon sampling across this unit along the VLF-EM conductor produced anomalous clusters with gold values up to 6, 12, 18, 120, 240 ppb Au and 30, 54 ppb Au as well as copper values of 140, 150, 150 ppm Cu & 450 ppm Cu >200m further away.
Several km long gold-copper targets have been defined in the area with strong chargeability and decreasing resistivity IP anomalies. The IP conductors are coincidental with a moderate E-W gold soil anomaly. Both geophysical and geochemical anomalies are located along the northern flank of a regional fold hinge (locus of potential structural trap). On the regional scale, the sulfide-bearing cherts are known to be gold bearing, hosting the Lidge (1.3m @ 11.42 g/t Au) and Lucille (4m @ 1.24 g/t Au) showings. Additional B-horizon sampling and prospecting over the VLF/magnetic lineament is planned this summer 2021 as well as likely diamond drilling. Winter drilling is planned on 2 IP conductors (P-07 and adjacent 06) due to area swampy conditions.

DIOS discovers a potential gold target in volcanics hosting a large IP trend on the K2 Project, WSW of Azimut’s Elmer property, Eeyou Istchee-James Bay, Québec.

On June 1, 2021, Dios reported the identification on the 100% owned K2 property of a 3 km long gold glacial train (B-horizon and boulders) defining a potential gold source to the WSW Azimut’s Elmer gold property, James Bay-Eeyou Istchee, Québec. The area of the new Sesame gold target (‘Sesame Target’) is a 2km x ~300m wide NE striking AIIP (Airborne Inductively Induced Polarization survey) anomaly, north of synvolcanic Kali pluton and just NE of the Curcuma Shear of the WI Target in volcanic hosted units. Interpretation suggests a possible hydrothermal alteration zone with minor disseminated sulfides. This area is ~3.2km up-ice of crumbly sericite enriched and carbonated felsic boulders with 1-3% pyrite & quartz stringers that yielded up to 6.72 g/t Au, 29 g/t Ag and 0.2 %Cu. Recall recent drilling at WI Target had not explained the source of this nearby soft crumbly mineralized and sericite enriched felsic volcanics (see: https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/dios-exploration-inc-dos-v-more-results-from-drill-program-lemieux/).
The Sesame Target occurs within same favourable rhyodacite package hosting much of Azimut’s Elmer Lake sulfidic volcanogenic mineralization. Located to the north of the Patwon Zone, the volcanogenic mineralization (1-5% pyrite, locally up to 10-50%), is strongly associated with moderate to high sericitization & moderate chloritization-carbonatization. Previous rock geochemistry by Barrick in the 1990’s outlined a 10 km long calcalkaline felsic sequence of folded dacites and 3 rhyolite cycles (I, II, III). Barrick’s most westward sampling, 4 km NE of Dios’ Sesame Target, suggests Sesame is associated with the younger cycle III rhyolite, laterally hosting the Lac Boulder showing (3.57 g/t Au, 6.9 g/t Ag) as well as the Silver and West zones (up to 3.1 g/t Au, 18.2 g/t Ag and up to 4.65g/t Au, 7% Cu, 160 g/t Ag in grabs) and perhaps the AJ-2 prospect (1.16 g/t Au, 13.5 g/t Ag) on Azimut’s Elmer property (see: https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/azimut-exploration-inc-azm-v-more-interesting-results-eric-lemieux/ and https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/more-work-elmer-area-james-bay-eeyou-istchee-region-nw-eric-lemieux/?published=t).

DIOS discloses Attila drill results and defines EM-VLF drill targets to the SW at the K2 property, Eeyou Istchee-James Bay, Québec.
On June 17, 2021, Dios reported assay results from the drill holes on the Attila Au-Cu-Ag (gold-copper-silver) showing on its wholly-owned K2 property, James Bay-Eeyou Istchee, Québec. The Attila Au-Cu-Ag showing located near crosscutting Kali fault, is a large chalcopyrite-rich stringer/stockwork, that graded up to 8.08 g/t Au, 96.7 g/t Ag, 2.43% Cu, at surface in a fractured rhyodacite dome overlying Kali Porphyry to the south. Dios also emphasized newly defined EM-VLF conductor drill targets at the southern contact of the volcanic dome hosting the Attila showing proximal to the Opinaca fault zone.
Saliently, Dios reported assay results from 2 holes (492 m) drilled on Attila Au-Cu-Ag showing in December 2020 (see: https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/dios-exploration-inc-dos-v-active-elmer-area-its-k2-project-lemieux/). DDH #9 (312m core-length depth) drilled to the south intersected a dacite unit with numerous mineralized intervals (15 to 40 m thick with fractured silica and sericite altered dacite with 1-7 % quartz-chlorite-pyrite stringers with 1-3% chalcopyrite ending in mineralized sericite diorite with 1-5% pyrite for last 13m). Best assay interval was 10m @ 6.3g/t Ag over 10m (from 267-276m) including 1m @ 25.8g/t Ag, 0.118g/t Au, 1.07% Cu (from 267-268m).
Drilled northward, DDH #10 (180m core-length depth) intersected similar a dacite sequence with several mineralized intervals (22 to 46 m thick) grading up to 2m @ 0.90 g/t Ag, 0.060g/t Au and also ending in chloritized and silicified diorite with 1-3% pyrite for last 7m.
Drilling beneath the stringer/stockwork zone showed intense pyrite mineralization at depth, but unfortunately lesser chalcopyrite and hence gold endowment. Follow-up work shall now focus on VLF-EM anomalies bordering the 2.5 km long volcanic dome near the Opinaca fault zone to the SW.?The VLF anomalies may represent a contact shear zone or sulfides, a potential good target for gold-copper. We highlight no drilling done in this area.

On July 7, 2021, Dios reported that it has secured a diamond drill rig for its coming summer 2021 ~2,000m drill program on the 100%-owned K2 gold-copper property, James Bay, Québec. The drill is expected to mobilize to site by mid-August with holes planned on i) Sesame gold Target, north of Kali pluton to the NE of the Wi target zone, and ii) Eastern K2 Project Area, to the SE of Attila target zone locus of a first priority IP conductor (P-11).
Dios is also to issue 750,000 shares and 250,000 warrants to Windfall Geotek. Another 250,000 shares are to be issued if Dios drills the provided AI generated targets within 2 years.??
Also, further drilling may be planned when ground is frozen, some 800 m south of P-11 conductor on parallel first priority IP conductors (P-07 & P-06) coincidental with a moderate E-W gold soil anomaly (SOLO target).

On August 31, 2021, Dios announced that the current diamond drill program is progressing well on its 100%-owned K2 gold-copper property, Eeyou Istchee-James Bay, Québec. The drilling rig and crew, helicopter and field teams were mobilized to site around mid-August 2021, as planned. Recall on July 7, 2021 Dios released detailed information on target drilling for 2021 summer drill program.?Some 2,000 m of drilling are planned targeting:
1) Sesame gold Target, north of Kali pluton to the NE of the Wi target zone, a 2 km long by 200-400 m wide NE striking airborne IP anomaly, up-ice of a 3 km long gold-in-soil train (B-horizon) and boulders, and

On September 15, 2021, Dios reported that it confirms a strong first priority target area to be drilled in southeastern K2. This target has good related gold (Au), copper (Cu) and arsenic (As) in-soil anomaly clusters derived from B-horizon glacial material and a coincidental 3.5 km-long VLF-EM conductor axis (associated with a good magnetic lineament).
A significant target in size, A48 area is composed of a cherty iron formation with pyrite and graphite within mafic volcanic flows and tuffs, south of Opinaca Fault, near cross-cutting structures such as NW-SE Kali Fault. On October 28, 2021, Dios reported that it had successfully completed a first phase 2,020m diamond drill program on the K2 gold-copper property, Eeyou Istchee-James Bay, Québec.?Up to 7 holes diamond drill holes investigated: i) Sesame Gold Target (2 holes for 664 m) and ii) Eastern K2 Project Area, to the SE of Attila target zone, locus of first priority IP conductors (P07-P06) (2 holes for 840m), P11 (1 hole for 254m) and VLF conductor (2 holes for 260m).
Several targets appear of interest: The Sesame Gold Target in the NE of the K2 property, is a 2 km long airborne IP anomaly, that was drilled with 2 holes ~400m apart. We understand that they intercepted a 42 to 48m wide foliated biotite-rich shear zone with 0.5 to 2 % disseminated pyrite. Visible gold was noted in one hole and chalcopyrite occurs up to 2 % over ~30cm.
Some 9km SE in the Solo sector, the southeastern K2 strong first priority ground IP (induced polarization) conductor area with related gold-in-soil anomalies was successfully drilled with 2 holes 800m apart along the 3 km long sub-parallel P07-P06 conductors. Both holes intersected a thick sequence (~70 to 100m) of alternating intermediate lapillis, volcanic tuffs and graphitic argillites/ with laminated mafic and felsic tuffs. These units are variably mineralized with 1-15% disseminated and stringer pyrite-pyrrhotite (attaining locally up to 25%), with traces of sphalerite. Geophysical and geochemical anomalies are located within a non-outcropping swampy area along the northern flank of a regional overturned syncline hinge-fold (inferred as a good structural trap good for gold). The extents of these zones (P07-P06-P05) shall be drilled next winter due to boggy ground conditions.
Some 850m north of P07 conductor lies 600 m long P11 conductor with coincidental extensive magnetic lineament. A 254 m long drill hole hit with success it is said a 50-m thick sequence of chert/ mafic-intermediate tuffs/ graphitic argillites mineralized with 1-30% disseminated and in stringers pyrrhotite-pyrite in a mafic volcanic domain.
Finally, 1 km SW, this magnetic feature is laterally associated down-ice with clusters of gold, copper and arsenic-in-soil anomalies along a 3.5 km-long VLF (Very Low Frequency EM) conductor; 2 holes in one section (for 260 m) cut through a ~53m thick sequence of chert/ mafic-intermediate volcanic tuffs/ graphitic argillites mineralized with 1-40% disseminated and in stringers pyrrhotite-pyrite overlying decametric thick (3 to 7m) massive sulfide horizon (70-90% pyrrhotite-pyrite). We believe this is the Windfall Geotek AI target.

In essence, we understand the exploratory drill program indicates significant rock units in distinct areas appear favorable for gold mineralization. ?The 100%-owned K2 property is adjacent in same trend WSW to Azimut Exploration Inc.'s Elmer project and is burdened with no royalties.

On December 9, 2021, Dios confirmed again successful drilling of first priority Artificial Intelligence (AI) target on its wholly-owned K2 property, with good related gold-copper-As in B-soil anomalies. Recall Windfall Geotek (WIN-V), a leader in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with advanced knowledge-extraction techniques since 2005 in the mining sector, provided a significant size AI Gold target covering a 0.87 km2 area on K2.
Dios drilled 2 holes in section for 260 m in the middle of the 0.87 km2 AI target, cross-cutting a 3.5 km VLF and magnetic structure.?Both drill holes started in mineralized rocks, hitting a 53.65 m thick sequence of 1 to 40% percent disseminated (& in stringers) sulfides, that is pyrrhotite-pyrite, within chert/ mafic-intermediate volcanic tuffs/ graphitic argillites overlying a several m thick (3 -7.32 m) massive sulfide horizon (70-90% pyrrhotite-pyrite).?
The AI target is coincidental with the significant km size A48 target, previously defined south of Opinaca Fault, near cross-cutting structures such as NW-SE Kali Fault extent and near strategic volcanic contacts.?Results are pending.

On March 22, 2022 Dios disclosed an update on its Clarkie and K2 projects in Eeyou Istchee-James Bay, Québec.??At the Clarkie Project within the Lower Eastmain Greenstone belt, previous work programs on folded sedimentary rocks of same age as those hosting Newmont’s Eleonore gold mine deposit, outlined outcrops of gold-bearing sediments (wackes) that graded up to 8.88 g/t Au and 6.8 g/t Au. The Wacky Showing defined in 2016-2018 has traces of 2% pyrite with quartz stringers and defined over a 110m strike length. Dios reported that recent further field work completed along the Eleonore gold mine-Cheechoo corridor still confirms the Wacky Showing as a prime target.?A discrete silicified and amphibolite wacke effectively returned 2 g/t Au near the Wacky Showing. Silicified amphibolite wackes alternate with metric NNW horizons of silicate-garnet iron-formations containing up to 2% pyrite-pyrrhotite. 5 grab-samples assayed gold values above 100ppb Au and future work, to include channel sampling, should focus on immediate Wacky Showing area and the northern extent. Recall, on December 9, 2021, Dios again confirmed successful drilling of first priority Artificial Intelligence (AI) target derived by Windfall Geotek (WIN-V), on the K2 property. Dios drilled 2 holes in section for 260m.
