Dinner Diplomacy: Exploring Israeli Life and African Collaboration with the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs

One such occasion presented itself when representatives from the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs (JCPA) came together for a delightful dinner. I was very honoured to meet for the first time Dan Diker Ph.D. , president of JCPA, Yechiel Leiter, Director General, and Aviram Bellaishe , Senior Director, Arab-Israel-Africa partnerships, but also Kuda Mukova, Head of Impact & Sustainability at Norsad Capital and his wife Samantha.

This gathering not only provided an opportunity to delve into the everyday life of Israel but also to explore potential collaborations between Israel and Africa. As conversations flowed and horizons broadened, the evening became a testament to the power of dialogue and cooperation.

Discovering Everyday Life in Israel

Seated at a beautifully adorned table, adorned with exquisite Kosher cuisine, the representatives from the JCPA began sharing insights into everyday life in Israel. The conversation delved into the vibrant cultural tapestry of the country, the warm hospitality of its people, and the resilience that characterizes Israeli society.

Talking a little bit more about anecdote, Dr. Yechiel, in particular, captivated the guests with intriguing anecdotes about Ariel Sharon, the charismatic former Israeli minister known for his strong character and leadership.
