Top of the mornin’ to you.?We knew when we posted?this naked pickleball popularity post?on Insta, our followers would leave some memorable comments.
But we had to highlight some of our favorites:
Let's dink in!
Fast and Furious
Fast hands. Everybody wants 'em. The Newmans' got 'em. Now you can, too.
You ask any vet of the game and they'll tell you, “stand one foot inside of the kitchen line and trade volleys with your partner.“
That's drill numero uno to improve hand speed and slow the game down when you revert back to gameplay.
The next?three drills?from the Newmans are as follows:
The moral of the story: fast hands come from practice. Thousands upon thousands of balls drilled at your sibling pay off in the long run.
The Zane Navratil Standard
Zane Navratil ’s own paddle features an Ultra-RAW carbon face that is designed to maximize spin and power.
That same technology is now available in a standard shape with 5-inch handle and wider face that allows for a big sweet spot and even better accuracy.
So whether you're a fan of the standard shape or an elongated paddle, you can play like Zane with a paddle from ProXR, LLC .

Ms. 305
South Florida loves pickleball. Baseball, not so much. But when you combine the two, you can fill a stadium.
It was pickleball day at LoanDepot Park as the? Miami Marlins and loanDepot park took on the Philadelphia Phillies . Top female pro and South Florida native?Anna Leigh Waters?burned the?first pitch?right by the 8ft tall 'Billy the Marlin.'
Outside of the stadium, a pickleball court hosted pros, amateurs, and anyone looking to escape in between at-bats.
The Marlins are not the first to honor pickleball and will not be the last. The pickleball-baseball love story continues throughout the summer. Pickle4's ballpark tour continues with stops in Boston, San Francisco, and Denver.
The Seattle Mariners ?also plan to host another pickleball night this season starring?Tyson McGuffin. If you ask a Chicagoan, pickles belong on a hot dog and maybe, just maybe pickleball and baseball belong together as well.

It’s Draft Week in NYC
The main story of the week is the Major League Pickleball Season Two draft. Teams will convene at the CityPickle courts in Central Park on Wednesday to make their selections for season two.
Most projections have Ben Johns ?top overall. After that, the?Utah Black Diamonds?will have to choose between?Anna Leigh Waters?and?Riley Newman?at number two.
A common strategy in the draft process is to take two women in the first two rounds. The Super Final champ?LA Mad Drops?prevailed in season one selecting?Catherine Parenteau?in the first and?Irina Tereschenko?in the second.
Other headlines include:
Zane Navratil ?and? Thomas Shields will host a special on-site episode of the?PicklePod?live from Central Park on Wednesday. A rotating cast of top-level players, savvy GMs and A-list ‘surprise guests’ will stop by the pod. Tune in on?The Dink?or?MLP YouTube?channels beginning at 9am ET.
