Dineamic and The Australia Ballet Collaborate to Create a Beautifully Balanced Partnership.

Dineamic is proud to announce a milestone partnership with The Australian Ballet.

As a Supporting Partner, Dineamic will collaborate with The Australian Ballet’s Artistic Health Team, supporting their world-leading dancer health and wellbeing program. With a shared passion for optimising performance, this authentic partnership will provide The Australian Ballet and its dancers with access to tailored education, sports nutrition experts, and high-quality meals – ensuring a balanced, informed approach to nutrition.

The Australian Ballet’s Artistic Health Team and embraces the role optimum, balanced nutrition plays in supporting exceptional performance.

Dr Sue Mayes AM, The Australian Ballet’s Director of Artistic Health, commented “Ballet is a physically and emotionally demanding art form, requiring peak athleticism, and our 80 full-time dancers have the added challenge of a hectic touring schedule. Everybody is different, and every dancer needs a specialised program to keep them at peak fitness. The Artistic Health Team help keep our dancers strong, healthy, and ready to meet the challenges of 200 performances a year; a balanced approach to nutrition covering education through to meals is an important element of our work.”

The art of balancing the needs of high-performing individuals, all year round, is a shared goal of both The Australian Ballet and Dineamic.

With a history of fueling and supporting elite sporting teams and Olympic athletes, Dineamic is uniquely experienced in the art of balancing high-quality nutrition into the frantic schedule peak performance demands.

Like The Australian Ballet’s Artistic Health Team, Dineamic’s nutrition team is glowing with experience and expertise, featuring six in-house nutritionists all led by an accredited practising dietitian—and Dineamic co-founder—Karen Inge.

Karen also has a historical relationship with the ballet, having previously consulted as a dietitian for The Australian Ballet throughout the 90s.

“I’ve always had a love of classical ballet: the dancers’ elegance and grace balanced with strength and athleticism. My earlier work with The Australian Ballet meant I was aware of dancers’ hectic schedules, the physical demands of their training and performances,” said Karen Inge.

“Dineamic is thrilled to support The Australian Ballet’s dancers through working with the Artistic Health Team, and by facilitating ease of access to the best ready-to-eat meals. Delicious, ethical, balanced, and packed with nutrition to support their busy schedules and nutrition needs.”

Chris Rodgers-Wilson, Senior Artist with The Australian Ballet, said “Eating healthily is essential for our optimal performance and recovery - at our busiest we are performing eight shows a week, as well as training and rehearsals during the day.”

“Having some Dineamic meals on hand makes managing our busy schedule much easier, they are delicious, quick to prepare and give you confidence you are eating a well-balanced diet. It’s fantastic Dineamic is joining The Australian Ballet as a partner, their support and nutritional expertise will be such an asset to our Company,” he continued.

About Dineamic

Dineamic was founded in 2008 by former AFL premiership player, Jason Johnson, and Accredited Practising Dietitian, Karen Inge, to create nutritious, balanced, ready meals for athletes to help achieve peak performance.

Karen Inge is an accredited practising dietitian and founding Vice President, then President of Sports Dietitians Australia. She was the first dietitian appointed to an AFL club.

Jason Johnson played 184 games for Essendon Football Club and was a 2000 premiership winner and recipient of the club’s best and fairest in 2001 and 2005.

This concept quickly grew beyond the sporting world and soon Dineamic was bringing the same level of nutritional care to make all Australians healthier and happier, by creating the best range of ready meals that are accessible and environmentally responsible.

Their chef-prepared fresh, flavourful meals are made with ethically sourced ingredients from local Australian farmers, using the highest quality free-range chicken and pork, grass-fed beef and lamb, or sustainably fished seafood, plus a variety of seasonal vegetables.

Dineamic caters to a range of dietary preferences and lifestyles including high protein, low FODMAP, no added dairy, low gluten, low calorie, vegetarian, and vegan.

Dineamic makes healthy eating something you want to do - and keep doing - meal after meal, day after day.
