Dilemma!! What would you do?
The Instacradle was specified for an external solid timber deck.
The decking contractor decided 'Plan B' was a better option.
The main contractor, would not honour the waterproofing guarantees as there is concerned about 'Plan B', over a period of time, compromising the waterproofing. This concern based on vibrations on deck causing the head of the screw to compromise the waterproofing combined with the screw corroding over time and the rubber belting being dislodged. The deck is in a high traffic zone as well as an environment subject to high winds.
The client needs to make a decision!
