DILEMMA WITH STOMACH AND BRAIN!
Akhilesh appeared before the interview board after qualifying the written exam and he desperately need a job to sustain his family. He is having his ailing father and two sisters along with his mother. Only tuitions cannot enable them to suffice in this hard real world. His romanticism has been faded away out of his struggling that he along with his peers may usher an upheaval to mitigate the poverty and alleviate poverty. His firm belief that only arms struggle could reduce the plight of the commoners and a new design of administrative dispensation, largely being guided by the working people is the only resort for perpetual peace and harmony. However, if required violence, he have no qualms as his aspiration is to bring sustainable peace and equitable distribution of wealth can only resort for emancipating people from afflictions and sufferings.
However, while observing the agony of his family, he immediately decided to resort to any means to bring comfort to his family, forgetting numerous who are going through the same plight. He applied for a post of sales trainee in a reputed organization and after clearing the written examination, he was called for the interview.
when he appeared before the recruiting board, they gone through his C.V. and asked questions related to his past, where he continuously pleaded for the commoners. They expressed their doubts and distrust towards him. He was literally rattled by their beaming interrogations and tried his level best to pursue them that if he get the job, he will prove his mettle and loyalty towards the organization he is supposed to be recruited. He pleaded that if his employers only focus on profits and if he can bring lucrative profits for them out of his acumen and endeavor then how his employer would reward him? They assured that if he can achieve the goal they will surely ensure intensives to him with lucrative bonanza. Out of his submissive state of mind he eventually grab the position and incorporated in the organization.

After few years, out of his sincere effort he reached to the apex of sales team. His earned revenue for the company is envious. Surprisingly, while in the helm of administration, he took innumerable decisions which was against the interests of the people working in the lower strata and whose contributions are commendable. He never dither to declare many of his workforce as redundant and was loyal to his bosses and unhesitatingly retrenched them. Surprisingly he appeared to be the most unpopular boos to his workforce. His stringent decisions may garnered huge wealth for the organization, but at the cost of so many needy who lost their jobs out of his deceptive ploy. He introduced a new policy in the company and rolled to his workforces, known as "NEAP", which suggest a new earning acceleration plan and failing to achieve it, they are forced to accept "PAIN" in reverse, that is to lose their jobs. Out of his designed plan he ensured huge revenue for his organization.
I wonder, what actually trigger Akhilesh to resort to such livelihood. Out of his body politic, whether stomach or brain plays the key role and finally induced him to repudiate his all principles and notions and resorted to a form of life purely being driven by tangible comfort and luxury. I myself in dilemma which one is more important, stomach or brain?
After a long time of separation with Akhilesh, suddenly I met with him in my way home in the street. I have taken it by surprise when a luxurious car abruptly halted in front of me and from the window a head is coming out, beckoning me to enter to his car. I was utterly confused as immediately I could not recognize him. But when he address me in my nick name I could realize that it is Akhilesh and I eventually followed his instruction and accompanied him to reach to my destination. I wondered to take notice that he was utterly drunk and almost in a way to be eventually evaporated out of his life style of physical gratification. I felt pity on him, but the question still haunting me that which one is more pertinent, stomach or brain!

9 个月It's sad when people overlook those employees who were once on their level - to push themselves forward without care. Clearly this individual forgot how valuable his friends once were now that he has 'made it' in business. I dare say today most, if not all, of them avoid him at all costs. Interesting post, my friend. One we can all seriously learn from.
