Events
World of Learning (WOL22) and Learning Technologies’ autumn forum (LTAF22)
Team Digits attended World of Learning and Learning Technologies Exhibition & Conference autumn forum events which took place on 11 & 12, and 13 October respectively.?
Luke Bayley , our business development team leader who boldly attended both events across three days, had this to say:
“WOL22 and LTAF22 were both fantastic opportunities to meet like-minded L&D professionals. The atmosphere was electric, and we all had so much fun demoing Digits LMS.
“It’s great to see so many learning teams out and about, scouting for tech that really supports their people’s growth.
"I also heard great feedback from delegates who attended Bradley Burgoyne 's presentation at Learning Technologies’ autumn forum – ‘Signs you’ve outgrown your LMS’ – it’s inspiring to see the potential modern LMS tech has for leading business growth, and how Digits continues to lead the charge in providing that.”

Five signs you’ve outgrown your LMS (and what to do next)
In September, Andrea Matkin , Nevin Nizamoglu Hart and Cathryn Newbery discussed the telltale signs your learning tech is due for an upgrade. Some of these ‘key indicators’ might surprise you – like how engagement rates forebode poor return on investment (ROI). Don’t let your LMS undermine your L&D strategy - watch the webinar or download the guide today.
Aligning HR and L&D for better skills development
On 15 November, Bradley Burgoyne and Andrea Matkin are hosting this webinar, based on Digits' forthcoming white paper. They’ll take an inquisitive look at how HR and L&D teams can work together to address the growing skills gap – a moot point for many organisations dealing with the ‘great resignation’ and its effects.

October is ADHD awareness month; TLNT.com recently published ‘surprising stats to be aware of’ which highlighted “a staggering 91% of businesses lacked awareness of how common neurodiversity is” – jarring if we consider Texthelp 's findings that one in five people are neurodivergent. Learn how your learning and development plan can support business continuity in uncertain times.
“Work from anywhere” policies give employees the flexibility to choose their location; some opt for remote work, others prefer the office, and a fair few enjoy a hybrid option. Should we be applying this same agility to the way we learn at work? These blended learning best practices will help you make the most of your virtual and in-person training.
Tea with Toby
Toby Gilchrist , head of implementation services, has been part of the driving force behind Digits for seven years.
“Since Digits became part of the Ciphr Group in 2020, I’ve been working closely with Ciphr’s projects team – taking inspiration from and witnessing all the innovative project tools in action. To say I’m inspired would be an understatement; I’ve also gone into full organisation mode.
“We’ve started using Kanban boards, task IDs, meeting agendas and timesheets (to name a few) within the LMS implementation team – Marie Kondo would be impressed.
“This all adds a layer of quality to our customer experience, a personal point of pride for me and the rest of the team.
“I can’t wait to see what else is inspired working with the projects team. Watch this space!”
