Digitalization of packing operations

GROKA, a company with a long tradition, wants to position itself for the future and become the regional market leader in its own sector in northern Germany. One measure is the gradual digitalization of the company's processes in order to be able to react more efficiently and flexibly to problems like skills shortage or supply bottlenecks.

The challenge

The structures that have grown over the last 50 years have led to opaque communication channels and fragmented processes due to company growth. The upcoming generational change in the whole company and the associated loss of expert knowledge are other pressing issues.

We have checked the existing processes for their robustness and adapted to the changing conditions. As a result of this potential analysis, a roadmap was created and suitable modernization and digitalization, and automation measures are derived.

Modelling the path

We have checked the existing processes for their robustness and adapted to the changing conditions. As a result of this potential analysis, a roadmap was created and suitable modernization and digitalization, and automation measures are derived.

Solution

Vision becomes reality. As a partner, we accompany GROKA in the changes regarding processes, cooperation and digitalisation. In addition to training on new ways of working, digitalisation in packaging operations is being driven forward with a comprehensive and transparent software solution. The vision has become individual work packages that can be implemented during ongoing operations.

At the end of next month we are diving into the future of sustainable packaging and discover how technology can help with environmental initiatives. Feel welcome to join us on-site in Amsterdam https://www.cloudflight.io/en/event/sustainability-obligations-dhl-insights-digital-innovation-session/
