  • In India, Ministry of Finance revealed the government's interim 2024-2025 budget with a significant focus on healthcare, allocating $10.8 billion, increasing from $9.5 billion from the previous year. Key initiatives include an expanded budget for biotechnology R&D to $132.5 million, almost doubling the budget of the previous year. The budget also provides interest-free loans to states for research and innovation in healthcare technology. While stakeholders praise the budget's emphasis on healthcare infrastructure and research, they insist on concrete AI in healthcare plans. Read More ??
  • Australia may have a key to the ongoing adoption of digital solutions. SA Health and the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH) piloted a Patient Reported Measures Program (PRM) at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) in Adelaide. The PRM Program first surfaced in 2021, and since then, teams have dedicated considerable effort to its implementation. By encouraging patients to report their health outcomes and experiences, the system can provide clinicians with valuable insights to improve decisions.
