#DigitalHealth News by Brian O'Connor | July 2024

Hello everyone!

As we step into August, I am excited to share some of the opportunities and initiatives that lie ahead. July has been a time of preparation, setting the stage for significant events and collaborations in the coming months. From our upcoming gathering at #UNGA79 to the dynamic opportunities at #HLTH Las Vegas, there is much to look forward to as we continue to foster connection, collaboration, and innovation in the digital health community.

Below is a glimpse of what is on the horizon, and how you can be part of these exciting developments.

UNGA 79: Registration is Now Open!

It gives me great pleasure to announce that registration is now open for the ECHAlliance Gathering of Global Leadership at Science Summit 2024 . On the 24th of September, we will gather in New York and online to engage in discussions that truly matter.

Our programme will feature an Open Session on Women’s Health, co-hosted with the Society for Women's Health Research (SWHR) , where we will address critical issues such as women’s health research and the role of women in healthcare decision-making. In the afternoon, an interactive Round Table will explore the potential of AI to transform global healthcare.

I invite you to join us—spaces are limited, so I encourage you to register soon here.

HLTH Las Vegas: Opportunities at Global Health Connector Village

As we look ahead to HLTH USA in Las Vegas, I am particularly excited about the opportunities at the Global Health Connector Village. This event is a special occasion to bring together diverse voices and innovative ideas. By participating as an exhibitor, you will not only have the chance to speak on the Village Stage, but also engage with a broad audience eager to learn and collaborate.

The stage is yours, and I look forward to the connections we will forge there. Learn more here.

Amplify Your Reach with ECHAlliance

At ECHAlliance, we are deeply committed to amplifying the reach of our members. With a network of over 1,100 organisations and a community of more than 60,000 followers, we work to ensure that your innovations receive the attention they deserve.

As George Margelis expressed, “Working with ECHAlliance - The Global Health Connector has been greatly beneficial for the Aged Care Industry IT Council in Australia in broadening our reach and collaborating with global leaders in ageing.”

As the Global Engagement Partner for The Africa Digital Health Networks - ADHN , I am honoured to highlight their work in advancing healthcare across Africa. ADHN is creating a vibrant space for collaboration, where stakeholders from all walks of life come together to share knowledge and drive forward the digital transformation of healthcare.

This is a cause that is close to my heart, and I invite you to join them in this vital work.

I am eager to see what the coming months will bring, and I am confident that, together, we will achieve even greater things.

Loving the global updates Brian. Lots to address. Great timing too! I set an objective for 2024 to refresh my networks, with a view to understanding key public health issues in the #Western #Pacific area (see WHO regional geography). I hope it's OK to reach out via this post Brian? As a social scientist, entrepreneur and public heath innovator, I'd like to connect with the equivalent of our #Academic #Health #Science #Networks #AHSN in #Bangkok and #Manila. Can you help please? Thank you ?? Best wishes, Kirstie
