Did you know that May 3 was Digital Wellness Day? On that day, we practiced a pause with technology and reflected on our relationship with it. This year's theme was digital balance. I'm not a fan of the word digital detox anymore and prefer digital downsize. Detox suggests we have a sickness and shouldn't use tech—quite the contrary!
How can we downsize our digital footprint, find more balance with analog activities, or be more present?

Our Speakers With Impact Mastermind - Stan Phelps , Kevin Snyder, CSP? , Raven Solomon, CSP? , Justin Jones-Fosu and Cynthia Barnes had our quarterly retreat a couple of weeks ago. My takeaway was creating a habit tracker for the full 12 months of behaviors for Work Well. Play More! Cynthia Barnes , had her TEDx talk released. If you have a habit of deflecting or downplaying compliments, I highly recommend taking 10 minutes to watch her talk and then take action and say thank you instead! Link to Video.
Now, onto a biggie:
My TEDx talk, The Relentless Pursuit of More, is gearing up for launch. I need all you helpers out there to do me a solid and make it a hit! When the video drops, we only have 72 hours (gulp!) to boost those views. Unfortunately, I won't know in advance so when it hits the interwebs sometime in May, we gotta be ready!

Productivity Quick Tip: Self-Care: Why it’s not just on you, but your company too!
Do you think it's all up to you to incorporate self-care into your life? I challenge that assumption. Leaders and companies need to look at what can be changed upstream to decrease the need for it rather than providing another meditation app or on-site massage day. One way to eliminate microstressors for your team members is to schedule any emails you send outside their scheduled work hours.
