Digital Video’s Transformative 2016, And What’s Looming Over 2017: My Latest

My latest Tubefilter column looks at the changes on many fronts that hit digital video this past year, including lots of new services and launches. But it also featured some losses, as some players shut down and others were merged out of existence.

And just ahead in 2017, there are a number of major issues looming, not least what a new administration with a new FCC majority will do with issues such as net neutrality that have allowed hundreds of over-the-top video services to blossom. Is there a big shakeout coming?
