Digital Promise Announces 15 Newly Certified Edtech Products

Congratulations to the edtech tools that were recently awarded Digital Promise’s Research-Based Design and Learner Variability product certifications ! These 15 edtech tools demonstrated their products were developed based on learning sciences research or centered learner variability in the product’s design. Additionally, four products earned recertification, as certifications expire after two years. Product certifications serve as rigorous, reliable signals for school administrators, educators, and families looking to select edtech that are designed to intentionally meet learners’ authentic needs.

Digital Promise has also launched a new product certification to support education and workforce transitions. Design principles established in the report, Learning Transition Design Principles for Learning and Employment Records: Co-designing for Equity provided guidance for the Learners’ Journey LER Technology: Product Certification development.?

Research-Based Design Product Certification

To earn the Research-Based Design Product Certification , edtech products must submit evidence to demonstrate that learning sciences research drove the product’s design.
