Also having a proper configuration of these products is important to have access to specific data within Digital Portfolio Management.

Digital Portfolio Management offers a detailed view of Business Applications and their underlying Application Services through Application Portfolio Management (APM). This outlines the crucial relationships that support the services provided to the employees. The relationships are built on the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and provide a detailed and to-the-point portrayal of how the services are actually performing.

Key Features of Digital Portfolio Management

1. Enterprise Portfolios: The service portfolios can help organize and categorize services in a way that aligns with the business structure. Metrics are automatically summed at the taxonomy node and portfolio levels, consisting of data from the underlying service offerings.

It helps to track responsibilities throughout each lifecycle phase and adopt collaboration across teams. It helps to receive alerts for high-priority changes and outages that affect your services.

To utilize DPM effectively, one should align their data with specific solution types. This could involve aligning the data with service offerings, business applications, or application services. To monitor incidents, changes, and problems related to the services, these records should reference the corresponding service offering to be visible in DPM (DPM does not display records via dependency relationships).
