Situation: A biopharmaceutical company engaged Adnexi to facilitate a targeted global launch strategy for a new digital therapeutic. Recognizing the pivotal role of Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs) in driving education and adoption, the company sought to identify influential health care providers with a digital presence across various specialties.?
Methods: Adnexi employed their proprietary Influence Mapping methodology, which involved identifying, profiling, and tracking Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs) who were posting relevant content in key digital channels. Adnexi conducted a survey among 160 healthcare providers, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and primary care doctors, to measure the influence and credibility of the identified DOLs. The selected DOLs were then engaged to increase awareness about the new digital therapeutic.
Results: Through Adnexi’s Influence Mapping initiative, Adnexi identified and tracked 77 Digital Opinion Leaders on our platform. The survey of healthcare providers helped to measure the credibility and influence of these DOLs, and over 10 influential and credible DOLs were engaged in launch efforts in compliant ways. This comprehensive approach not only enhanced the awareness of the new digital therapeutic but also fortified the company’s strategic positioning.
