Are digital nomad relationships complicated?
Hey, coconuts!
September was a whirlwind month. This photo dump is proof of how perfectly fun and productive the community can be.
All this talk about travel is what initiated this chain of thoughts around digital nomad relationships. Are we forever alone or has anyone made it work? How can we find someone to date with similar interests? I talk more about this later in the newsletter.
?? Meanwhile, if you want to travel to India with the wonderful digital nomad community at Hacker Paradise, check out their upcoming trips.
?? If you want a travel partner on your next workation, are looking for remote jobs or want to be part of other clubs that match your interests (pssst, Book Club) - join the Digital Nomad India Community.
Apart from that, here's what you will find in this edition of the DNI Newsletter:
So, are digital nomad relationships complicated?
While I (Sharvani) travel more than my partner (& he's fine with it, but it's not always easy - I miss him), Mayur Sontakke's (the founding host) entire family is nomadic. They are even documenting their adventures on NomadTukTuk.
Shahzada Arora, the co-founding host travels often and has managed to make friends everywhere!
Mayank Pokharna who recently joined our team is on a mission to work remotely from 100 destinations and he often travels with his wife.
It works for each of us and we love how we can always visit our loved ones whenever we want!
What's your experience been like? Let's chat!
Meanwhile, meet Shruti and Arun who will prove to you that being a digital nomad family is not impossible.
"???????? As digital nomads, Shruti and Arun have roamed from coast to coast ?? and across the globe, with their young adventurers in tow. Whether it's exploring the lush landscapes of Kerala, the vibrant streets of Bangkok, the tech hubs of Bangalore, or the idyllic beaches of Goa, they've created a life filled with exciting discoveries.
One might wonder how they maintain this whirlwind lifestyle while ensuring their children thrive. The answer lies in predictability. Children, they believe, thrive on it. They've established their base in Mumbai - a home that helps retain some sense of predictability."
